Expert Sudoku is designed for sessions where the reasoning is the main event. Direct placements are rare, and the next step may depend on a pattern that connects candidates across distant rows or columns.

Use precise notes and eliminate candidates only when you can explain why. Patterns such as X-Wing and Swordfish become useful when a digit is restricted to matching positions across multiple units.

Choose Expert when you are comfortable spending time without an immediate placement. Every published puzzle still has one solution and can be completed through logic; taking a break is often more productive than guessing.

We create our puzzle packs with our own Sudoku generator. Starting from a completed grid, it removes clues only when exactly one solution remains. Each puzzle is checked again before joining a pack.

Difficulty follows the logical techniques needed to solve the puzzle, rather than just the number of empty cells. Easy starts with single candidates; higher levels introduce techniques such as pairs, triples, X-Wing, and Swordfish.
